  Noma Falta - Queen of the Blues With her sultry voice, and magnificent bass playing, Noma mesmerized the crowd at The Mountain Lodge.  If you have heard Noma perform, you know what I mean when I call her "Queen of the Blues". If you have never heard her perform, you missed a treat!     The crowd at The Mountain Lodge dances to the wide variety of songs from Noma's song list.   Along with the blues, Noma performs jazz, rock, and softer rock styles. Noma will pull you deep inside her music, with her velvety voice and mellow bass, you will find yourself lost in a magical world.    Everyone was in a holiday mood at The Mountain Lodge, just 3 days before Christmas! Couples and singles, all dressed to the nines at this special event. Even those not dancing couldn't help but tap their toes and sway to the music.  If you are looking for a winter wonderland this holiday season, look no further than Winter Lodge. Not only do they have furnished cabins and homes with magnificent views, but they also have a wide variety of fun activities to do while you are there.  I started at the Mountain Lodge venue, where the talented and personable John Rocky was performing. (More about that later!) From the lodge I caught the ski lift, riding to the summit where awe inspiring vistas met me.  This mountainous region will delight your eyes with the carefully planned nooks and crannies where you will find hidden gems, such as warm inviting cabins, carefully placed trees, and waterfalls. If I hadn't known better, I would swear I was really on a snow covered mountain! I ventured back down to the Mountain Lodge venue, where I hopped on the hot-air balloon ride.
